Custom Weapon Set - The host should be able to choose which weapons he wants to use in the game and which weapons he would like laying around in the level.

 

More Weapons –

Hand Held - Daggers, Swords, Bayonets, Throwing Knives

Machine Guns – Flamethrowers, Mountable Machine Guns
Grenades – Poison Grenades (inflict damage to whoever walks through it), Sticky Grenades

Landmines – There can be 2 different times of landmines

  1. Timed Landmine
  2. User-Prompted (user pressed a button to force the landmine to explode)

Of course, each landmine will also explode when someone walks near it or a grenade/other landmine explodes near-by.

 

Body Abilities- Your person should be able to Jump, Walk, Crouch, Go Prone, Lean Around Corners, Roll, Melee, Climb, and Run.

 

Dual Wielding – With smaller guns, players would be able to hold one in the right hand, and one in the left hand.  Then, the button that normally is used to throw grenades would be used to shoot the gun in the left hand.

 

Mounted Machine Guns – This could also be optional


Vehicles – It should be optional to have them in the game. 

  1. 2 Person Tank

2.      3 Person Jeep – (Two Versions, one with covered gunner, one with uncovered gunner)

Driver

     Passenger (who can shoot his gun)

          Machine Gunner (Mounted in the back.  Uncovered Gunner has 360 degree shooting, cover gunner has less than 180 degree shooting)

More Game Modes - Capture the Flag, Steal the Bacon, Manhunt (Hide and Seek), Search & Destroy, Juggernaut, Oddball, King of the Hill.  There should also be variations of the game.  I.E. 1 Flag CTF or 2 Flag CTF (like Halo 2)


2 Player Online - If the player has two controller's, they should be allowed to play with their friend online on the same playstation.


Headset – It should be an Open Proximity Mic for both teams, meaning that any player, no matter what team they are on, can talk to you if they are close enough to you.  You can press a button to talk to your whole team no matter how far away they are. While talking using this button, the other team cannot hear you no matter how close they are.

 

Mini-Map – There should be a mini-map/Compass, in the lower corner that shows where goals, vehicles, and teammates are.  It should also show where opponents are, although prone and crouching opponents will not be detected.

 

Room Stats before you enter – When you put the cursor over a room, you can see

  1. The Game Mode
  2. The Level
  3. How many players are in the room
  4. Which players are in the room

What the limit it (Time/Death/Frag)

 

Scoring – When showing scores, there should be at least three columns.

  1. Kills
  2. Assists
  3. Death’s

These could be in there, but are not needed

  1. Team Frag
  2. Suicides

Every different game mode will have more columns.  I.E., the additional column for CTF should be

  1. Flag Scores    (when you bring the flag back to your base)
  2. Flag Steals     (when you take the flag from the opponents base)
  3. Flag Saves     (when you kill the person with the flag)

When a new game loads, or you a leaving a game, the scores from the last round should be shown on the screen.

Automatic Clan System – You will only have to have one username, and the tags will automatically be added to the front of your name once the leader of the clan adds you to the list. (Socom II)

 

Interactive Buddy and Clan list – You can edit your list online, without having to log off, and you can send text and voice messages to each.  Both players have to agree on having each other on their Buddy list.

Interactive Maps – You will be able to open doors, climb things, move things (like crates), ect. Also, grenades or landmines or rockets exploding near certain spots will make holes in walls, broken windows, or something of the sort, which would lead to other sections of the map.

 

Player/Host Options –

Players in the room should have the option to:

  1. Mute other players
  2. Change Teams
  3. Vote to Kick Player/Change Map/ Change Weapon Set/ Change Game Mode

The Host of the game should have the option to:

  1. Kick out players
  2. Force Players to change teams
  3. Change Rules/Map/Weapons of game
  4. Accept/Decline Votes

 

Health – When the Host starts a game, he should be able to choose the way a player regains his heath.  The options should be

    1. Gradual Return (you will slowly regain health after you have been injured)
    2. Health Packs (there will be different types of health packs laying around; each one gives you a different amount of health)
    3. Death Drops Health (when someone dies, they drop health packs)
    4. No Health Regain


Death Limit - Once you die a certain amount of time you are out for that round.

 

Choose Spawn Point – When you die, you can choose where you want to respawn.  It will show you where vehicles, teammates, opponents, and goals are.  The spawn points are already set; you cannot pick to respawn inside a building if it is not a set one.  If you want, you can choose one point to respawn every time, or you can choose it to be random every time (so you don’t waste time after you die).  Of course, there will be limits to where you can spawn depending on the game modes.

 

Blood - Blood could be where a death, or injury took place on the ground or wall or surrounding objects.

 

Customizable Characters- Choose what your character looks like.  Choose the gender, headwear, shirts, pants, ect.  Almost everyone will have a different character and it will be easy to tell one person from another.
